Dr. Dan Handley
Filmmaker
Dan is an engineer/scientist, musician, writer, and filmmaker. He has studied playwriting and science journalism at Johns Hopkins University as well as documentary filmmaking at Pittsburgh Filmmakers, where he is currently an Artist Member. His technical education include:

David Conrad
Narrator
Juilliard-trained David Conrad is an accomplished film and television actor (Wedding Crashers, Men of Honor, Boston Public). The Pittsburgh native currently co-stars with Jennifer Love Hewitt on the hit CBS series The Ghost Whisperer.
Bill Peduto
Executive Producer
Bill Peduto is the Pittsburgh City Councilman for District 8 and serves as the Chairman for the Committee on Finance and Law. Councilman Peduto created the city's first Committee on the Arts and was recognized by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as one of the 50 Cultural Forces of the region. As a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, Mr. Peduto works with organizations and individual artists to promote arts and culture as a way of increasing economic growth in the region.
Mark Knobil
Director of Photography
Mark Knobil has been a professional cinematographer for over 20 years. He has over two dozen credits as Director of Photography for National Geographic, PBS Nova, and the Discovery Channel. Among his many credits include: The First Flower (Nova, PBS); The Great Robot Race (Nova, PBS); Volcanoes of the Deep (Nova, PBS); TITANIC: Anatomy of a Disaster (Discovery Channel); The Shape of Life, Cats: Caressing the Tiger (National Geographic) and Bali: Masterpiece of the Gods (National Geographic). Two of his projects have been nominated for Emmy awards.
Jeff Garton
Director of Photography
Jeff Garton has shot three features, a dozen short films, and hundreds of commercials and documentary projects. He has traveled extensively for National Geographic, Nova, and the Discovery Channel. Other credits include projects for the BBC, Unsolved Mysteries, the Shoah Foundation, and the White House Historical Society. Closer to home, he was the gaffer on the Pittsburgh independent features Daddy Cool, Out of the Black, and The Bread, My Sweet. Jeff also teaches film production and lighting classes and workshops.
